Hate All These "Dubstep" Threads! [Read Carefully]Posted:

I'm starting to get annoyed with all these "Dubstep" threads popping up. For example someone will be like "You Favorite Dubstep Song?" or "Check Out This Dubstep Song!" Now most of these kids think they are cool for listening to "Dubstep" when they are just listening to another Skrillex song. Now don't flame that I hate Skrillex, I like him. However you guys that say you listen to Dubstep need to broaden your horizon in the genre and listen to something besides Skrillex, thats all im saying.
And i'v been listening to Dubstep/DnB since '07 so don't flame me saying I don't know what I'm talking about, I in fact do.

Im annoyed by it myself...I feel people need to broaden music, it isnt all about RAVING.

I agree with you.Its getting annoying when you go to the music section and all you see is dubstep Topics.
I listen to some dubstep once in awhile.
But im not really a fan of that type of music Tho.

been a fan of dub since 04 ;) great rant but i agree people need to be more broad about their music and a certain genre. Btw pressing buttons on a midi controller/beat pad and adding random effects over pre mixed mixes. Thats why i hate Skrillex because he is not a DJ he just plays around with pre recorded music.

I dislike Skrillex now. Sure some of there songs are good but I mean girls in my year listen to them and they think it's dubstep and they've never heard a real dubstep tune. I've been listening to dubstep for about 3 years as well. 8)

too true mate..
i been listening to dubstep since 08'...
and all these kids come along and think they're cool because they got skrillex blaring out there ipod.. its like, god, listen to something else rather than skrillex, stupid kids, they have no knowledge on dubstep what so ever..

Why do people need to broaden the genre they listen to? It's their choice what they listen to.
