Hey guys.
I know this should go in the rant, but it's going to be pointless being posted there as no-one even looks there.
Anyway; TTG is a community and not a Hacking/Modding website, yeah okay people will sell Mods, Lobbies etc, but if you counter it all out, it's about 78% Community and 22% Modding. Although that 22% is still very high, it also makes people stereotype the site, and actually, it's stereotyped that much, that if you try naming a class on Call of Duty: Black Ops called "TheTechGame" they actually WILL NOT allow you to put it! Well done you **** ***** who stereotyped a community for a modding website!
Also; I will admit, I joined TTG hoping it was my Number 1 source for lobbies etc, and actually, it is. But I've learned so much about the site, it's like a second home to me. If you get alot of friendly people talking on a discussion that can be related to REAL LIFE problems with everyone's opinions etc, it gets very interesting.
Many of you will disagree with this and say that the idea of theTECHgame was that it was used for TECH items, this I will value otherwise it would be a pointless name! But C'mon, the "Off Topic" board is full of interesting, amazing, funny, useless things that happen in real life! TTG should not be critisized as a Modding Website!

but it is a modding website you can't change that... its not a community either too many people act like kids on this site to be called a "Community" and its a hacking website as well

I agree,this is not a modding website,all the little kids join because they think its a modding website.Its annoying me,Nice post Bro

What it is to you and what it is for other users is different, for example:
>Some people use it as a marketplace
>Some people use it as a place to learn
>people come to ask what they cant ask anywhere else
>Some people think of it as a community like you
>i use the site for console modification tutorials only,
i help people out when they need me also...
TTG | -Appeals to all sorts of people and i agree it isn't only good for modding, it is good for many things but it was made famous via MW2 Mods, i blame the people that put TTG in there name, clan tag and on there profile.
Also the people that infect others with TTG in their classes with colors etc just constantly reminds people that this site was used alot more then than it is now.

As yes this site is for modding and learning new skills, This site was not made for people to talk about:
- Do you brush your teeth topics
- Have you kissed a girl topics
- How old are you topics
You get were i'm going with this, But as more kids come on the site, This is what TTG is becoming and moderators can only do so much with these topics and this is what it is becoming.
I for one came to the site to learn about:
- Jtag's
- usb modding (ect)
And helping people with things i no.
But i think people need to learn how to make a post ( And not just spam for there post)
Just my input on your topic.
