Ths is my leveling up guide that I have been selling since the game has been out but decided to release it for you guys!!

GUIDE:
This is your complete, level-by-level guide to prestiging in CoD : Black Ops in the shortest amount of time possible. Using these simple steps you can earn 15,000 to 20,000 XP sometimes even more than 35,000 XP per match without any hacking, glitching, or cheating. For the purpose of this guide I will be using a brand new Xbox Live level 1 account which I will rank up to prestige in much less than 24 hours. Lets start:

Level 1 and 2:

Play: Free-for-All

Class: SMG

Notes: Rank up to Level 3 with a minimum of 10 kills. Since you dont have your custom class yet, concentrating on getting kills should be your main priority. By using the SMG class with its default perks and the MP5k submachine gun, it will help you in most close range battles in Free-for-All.

Level 3 and 4:

Play: Mercenary Team Deathmatch

Class: Assault

Notes: Rank up to level 5 with a minimum of 20 kills. Using the Assault class with the M16 as your primary weapon, you can pick enemies off from a good distance so be smart and tactical on the battlefield to get at least 20 kills. Then, youll unlock the Enfield, Contracts, Create-A-Class, and Challenges.

Level 5:

Play: Domination

Class: create Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Enfield assault rifle

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Tactical Mask

Notes: If you capture a minimum of 5 flags in Domination and kill 10 people with the Enfield assault rifle to complete the first primary weapon challenge, you will earn 3,000 XP to rank up to level 6. Equip the M72 LAW rocket launcher as your secondary weapon to bring down those Spy Planes for an extra 150 points. You will also unlock the RPK light machine gun and the Clan Tag feature (create your own 4 letter clan name).

Level 6:

Play: Domination

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Enfield assault rifle

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Tactical Mask

Notes: Use your newly purchased Nova Gas grenades as much as possible by throwing them at an objective occupied with enemies in Domination.

Level 7-8:

Play: Ground War

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Enfield assault rifle

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Tactical Mask

Notes: Play Ground War with your Custom Class 1 until you reach level 8 which will unlock you the Scorpion submachine gun, the Stakeout shotgun, and the Demolition mode.

Level 9:

Play: Demolition

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Enfield assault rifle

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Tactical Mask

Notes: Complete the Demolished challenge for your Flak Jacket perk in your Custom Class 1 by planting or defusing 10 bombs. Complete the challenge by playing Demolition and you will earn 2,000 XP and an extra 600 XP for each bomb plant and defuse.

Level 10:

Play: Demolition

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Enfield assault rifle

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Tactical Mask

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Now that you have unlocked Killstreaks in the menu, you can purchase up to three different kill streaks to obtain during a match to help you get more kills and points. I would suggest the Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, and Napalm Strike, as your three, four, and five killstreaks. This way you spend more time playing the game and earning more points instead of controlling RC cars or waiting for a Care Package.

Level 11-14:

Play: Domination

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Enfield assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Tactical Mask

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Purchase and equip the Reflex Sight (1,000 CP) to lower your recoil and aim down sights a little faster (see this post for proof) for your Famas assault rifle primary. Then, purchase and equip the Claymore (5,000 CP) in your equipment slot. Think of the Claymore as a small killstreak during a match. If you plant it in a good location, you will get a free kill when the enemy is in its range.

Level 15-16:

Play: Domination

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Famas assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Hardline, Sleight of Hand, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: With Hardline, you will be able to call in your killstreaks in one kill earlier so that will earn points faster by having to kill less people to call in your killstreaks. Also, purchase the Semtex grenade for your lethal grenade slot because it will help you get more kills in objective based games due to its detonation speed increase from the standard frag grenade.

Level 17:

Play: Domination

Class: Custom Class 2

Primary Weapon: AK74u submachine gun

Attachment: Grip

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Lightweight, Steady Aim, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Now that you have unlocked the AK74u, its time to set up your Custom Class 2 as your rushing class. Purchase and equip the AK74u (2,000 CP) as your primary weapon and equip Grip as your attachment to increase the guns accuracy. Also, use the M72 LAW rocket launcher as your secondary weapon to bring down those Spy Planes for an extra 150 points.

Level 18-19:

Play: Domination, Headquarters, Ground War

Class: Custom Class 2

Primary Weapon: AK74u submachine gun

Attachment: Grip

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Lightweight, Steady Aim, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Start playing Domination, Headquarters, and Ground War with your newly customized Custom Class 2 to rank up your Marksman 1 and Expert 1 primary weapon challenges for your new AK74u gun so you can earn more points and level up quicker.

Level 20:

Play: Domination, Headquarters, Ground War

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Galil assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Hardline, Sleight of Hand, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Keep Hardline, Sleight of Hand, and Marathon as your first, second, and third perks. This way you can concentrate on earning the 4,000 XP from the Sleight of Hand Aiming and Reload kills perk challenges which are easier to get than the other perks challenges.

Level 21-26:

Play: Domination, Headquarters, Ground War

Class: Custom Class 1

Primary Weapon: Galil assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Hardline, Sleight of Hand Pro, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Concentrate on unlocking and purchasing the Sleight of Hand PRO (3,000 CP) perk for your second perk slot. This way you can reload and aim down sights faster with the newly unlocked Galil assault rifle. This will help you in close quarter combat situations against submachine guns.
Also, by now you should be close to completing the Assault Rifle Kills 3 and Headshots 2 challenges by getting 30 headshots and 300 kills with any assault rifle which will earn you an extra 1,250 XP. If you have not completed the Famas Expert 2 and Marksman 3 challenges yet, equip it for a few more matches until you complete the challenges which will earn you another 1,250 XP.
You can also make sure you keep using your Frag and Semtex grenades because just after 10 kills with each you will earn an extra 500 XP.
More easy challenges you can complete real quick:

Vandalism Destroy 15 for 500 XP

Stalking Prey Kill 15 enemies while you are crouched for 500 XP

Laid to Rest Kill 15 enemies while you are prone for an extra 500 XP.

Complete all of these challenges as you are playing with your custom classes and you should get through these five levels rather quickly so you can unlock the next assault rifle, the AUG.

Level 27-29:

Play: Domination, Headquarters, Demolition

Class: Custom Class 3

Primary Weapon: AUG assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: M72 LAW launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Ghost, Hardened, Ninja

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Now that you have unlocked the AUG, it is time to set up your Custom Class 3. So purchase and equip the AUG assault rifle as your primary weapon and the M72 LAW as your secondary Launcher. Make sure you have the Suppressor (2,000 CP) equipped for the AUG as well to complete one of the perk challenges for this class. As your first, second, and third perks, select Ghost, Hardened, and Ninja. The reason you should choose these perks is because you now want to concentrate on obtaining the pro perk challenges for them, as they will earn you an extra 2,000 XP per challenge. There will be five easier to obtain challenges from these perks which will earn you a total of 10,000 XP. As an example, one of the challenges for the Ninja Pro perk is to get 150 kills using the Suppressor attachment for your AUG that you just equipped for this class. Complete the perk challenges for this Custom Class 3 while you are playing matches and your progress through these two levels will be a breeze.

Level 30:

Play: Domination, Headquarters, Demolition

Class: Custom Class 3

Primary Weapon: AUG assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: Strela-3 launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Ghost, Hardened, Ninja

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Now youre in the big league and are able to score extra points per match. How is that? Well, you have now unlocked the Strela-3 rocket launcher for your secondary weapon slot. So go ahead and purchase and equip the Strela-3 (2,000 CP) for all of your three custom classes as your secondary weapon. The Strela-3 will help you bring down not only Spy Planes but also Attack Helicopters, Chopper Gunners, and Gunships due to its high damage and range. It also comes with two rockets per life so you can now bring down any helicopter in one life with two rockets. Make sure you use the Strela-3 in every match when you hear any Helicopters coming to bring you an extra 400-700 XP per chopper death. This will help your total points for each match increase tremendously, so take advantage of the Strela-3 every chance you get.

Level 31-38:

Play: Domination, Demolition, Headquarters

Class: Custom Class 1, 2, and 3

Primary Weapon: Custom Class 1, 2, and 3 weapons

Attachment: Custom Class 1, 2, and 3 attachments

Secondary Weapon: Strela-3 launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Custom Class 1, 2, and 3 perks

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Use any of your three custom classes for each appropriate match such as Custom Class 1 for Domination, Custom Class 2 for Demolition and Custom Class 3 for Headquarters. If you vary your play style in these different modes, you will be able to unlock the Game Modes challenges which can earn you up to 10,000 XP. Make sure that you use every assault rifle listed above and complete its primary weapon challenges such as all of the levels of Expert and Marksman challenges. This will guarantee you at least 5,000 XP per assault rifle. Then, do the same for the submachine guns, such as the AK74u in your Custom Class 2. Once you have completed all of the Game Modes and Primary Weapons challenges, you will have enough to reach level 38 and unlock the AK47 assault rifle.

Level 39-44:

Play: Domination, Demolition, Headquarters

Class: Custom Class 4

Primary Weapon: AK47 assault rifle

Attachment: Dual Mag

Secondary Weapon: Strela-3 launcher

Grenades: Semtex, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Hardline, Sleight of Hand, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Counter-Spy Plane, Napalm Strike

Notes: Now that you have unlocked the AK47 assault rifle, make sure to purchase and equip it to your new Custom Class 4. This class will best cater to the AK47 and utilize its potential. So the AK47 will be your primary weapon in this class and the Strela-3 rocket launcher will be your secondary weapon. Purchase the Dual Mag attachment for your AK47 to double your ammunition and increase your first reload speed. I have averaged 10,000-20,000 XP per match by constantly using my killstreaks, capturing objectives, and bringing down enemy planes with the Strela-3. By using this class, you will also unlock all of the AK47 assault rifle challenges as well as the Dual Mag Marksman challenge.

Level 45-49:

Play: Domination, Demolition, Headquarters

Class: Custom Class 5

Primary Weapon: Commando assault rifle

Attachment: Reflex Sight

Secondary Weapon: Strela-3 launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Napalm Strike, Chopper Gunner

Notes: During these four levels, you should dedicate your time on completing all of the weapon challenges for your primary assault and submachine guns such as the Marksman challenge for each gun. If you complete all of the primary weapon challenges for your five custom classes, you should earn around 50,000 XP to help you level up. Also, go through the Game Modes challenges and check the modes that you have played most often to finish any challenges in progress.
You will spend most of your time out of all of the levels trying to prestige during these last few levels as they require more points to complete, so to help you rack up more points quicker you should concentrate on objective based modes where you can earn extra points by capturing objectives such as Domination, Demolition, and Headquarters.

Level 50-Prestige:

Play: Domination, Demolition, Headquarters

Class: Custom Class 5

Primary Weapon: G11 assault rifle

Attachment: Variable Scope

Secondary Weapon: Strela-3 launcher

Grenades: Frag, Nova Gas

Equipment: Claymore

Perks: Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand, Marathon

Killstreaks: Spy Plane, Napalm Strike, Chopper Gunner

Notes: This is crunch time! You now need the most points from any other level in order to prestige. First up, you should purchase the G11 assault rifle that you have just unlocked recently (you might have to make 2 assault rifle purchases prior) and complete the basic primary weapon challenges for it which will help you with a few hundred points. Then, go into your challenges and check all of the Primary Weapon challenges for the weapons that you have mostly used to get this far.
The challenges for each weapon progress with larger rewards each time one is completed so work your way to the ones that are close to completing so you can squeeze out every last point. Then go into you Lifetime and Game Modes challenge and check the modes you play most to see what challenges are close to being completed. At this point, you should only be using your most frequently used guns to complete the primary challenges and play in the modes that you have had the most playtime in so you can earn the bonus points from each challenge. If you have completed your primary, attachment, game modes, and some of your lifetime challenges, you should now have enough points to prestige.

Extra Tips:

Combo #1 - The Balanced Build
Weapon: M-16 with Red Dot attachment (any assault rifle works)Perk 1:Perk 2:Perk 3:*Last Stand
Strengths:*This is my favorite overall combo. I find that when playing with a set-up like this, I can not only get a lot of kills, but I also rarely die. It is perfect for larger maps and team games.
Weaknesses:*This build suffers when it comes to charging buildings and rushing enemies' that are camped out. It does require some patience.
Strategy:*The key way to play this set-up is to move slowly (you should almost never sprint) and focus on working a specific part of the map. Patience is key, as you want to slowly move from cover point to cover point (i.e. rocks, walls, buildings) as you look for players.
When you see someone that does not see you, kneel, aim, and shoot them. Usually a torso shot with the M16 will result in a kill and a headshot always will. This build rewards accurate players, so if your aim is good you can quickly rack up a lot of kills.
Another thing I like about this build and the M-16 in particular is that it only uses 3 bullets a shot, and you should be able to take out another player in 1-3 shots, depending on distance. As a result, your ammo goes a very long way. Completely automatic assault rifles run out of bullets very quickly if you are not careful.
I always pick last stand with this build because of the perk that lets other players revive you. When you get revived, your killstreak is maintained, which makes it a lot easier to get big rewards like the Chopper Gunner. When using a rifle, you generally should stick with your team, so your chances of getting revived are high.
Combo #2 - The Assassin
Weapon:*AK47U with silencer attachment (or another submachine gun)Perk 1:Perk 2:*GhostPerk 3:
Strengths:*Really shines at small maps. Also works well versus highly-skilled players. You can get a lot of kills shooting from the hip. It is also a very exciting build because you are always moving
Weaknesses:*Cannot shoot far due to submachine gun and silencer combo. You need to be close to reliably get kills. You will also die frequently; it is hard to rack up a large killstreak with this combo.
Strategy:*This is an awesome set-up because you never show up on radar. It is downright amusing the amount of times you end up sneaking up behind another player (or even group of players). Since you have a silencer, you can shoot without a problem and frequently take out large groups of players who are facing away from you.
Your main strategy here is to flank the enemy team the best you can. You want to avoid your teammates. Your teammates will show up on radar so you want to stay as far away from them as you can. Try to head around the outskirts of the map the opposite direction from where your team is going.
This way, while the enemy is distracted fighting your team, you can come up from behind and often surprise an entire team of players. However, these players are then likely to spawn all around you, making it tough to stay alive for long.
That said, if you play it right you wind up with 2-3 kills for every death that you have. For this reason, I prefer to only break this out when I am playing against a good team. Versus a weaker team I will almost always opt for Combo #1.
Combo #3 - Bunker Buster
Weapon:*Shotgun with grip attachmentPerk 1:Perk 2:*Steady aimPerk 3:
Specials:*Claymore, Frag Grenade, and Flash Bang.
Strengths:*This combo was built for busting into crowded rooms and clearing out groups of campers and Snipers. It is also well-built to defend highly-trafficked buildings, particularly buildings that offer good vantage points for the level.
Works well on small maps with buildings (such as Nuketown).
Weaknesses:*Absolutely no range. You can only fight in close-quarters combat. However, you can always grab an assault rifle as a secondary weapon from someone you kill.
Strategy:*Now this build has a very particular use and a very particular Black Ops strategy. Notice that this is the only build which I specifically note that you will want to get a Claymore, Frag Grenade, and Flash Bangs as your specials. Here is how it all comes together:
When playing this build, your primary objective is to storm into rooms where the enemy is hiding out in. This works particularly well in rooms where players like to shoot out of the windows (i.e. buildings that you can see most of the level from).
What you will do is when you approach a room you know is full of people, you can cook a grenade, toss it in the room, immediately follow it with a flash bang, then charge in and start spraying with your shotgun.
Do not aim the shotgun. Shoot from the hip and strafe; if you are even half-way accurate with your frag grenade and flash bang it will be absolutely no problem to wipe out an entire room full of people.
The beauty of this build is that it works even when the enemy knows you are trying to break in. It is a great way to break boring stalemates where the enemy is refusing to engage in combat.
An assault rifle and submachine gun will not stand up to a shotgun being fired from the hip (i.e. not aiming), and when you stack a grip with steady aim, you have extremly high accuracy with a shotgun from a close range, resulting in many 1-hit kills. In short, it is a lot of fun to unload 8 shots from a semi-automatic and quickly take out a room full of people.
Once you take the room, it is almost guaranteed that your enemies will want to take it back. Set your Claymore by the entrance; this is not likely to net a kill but will let you know when someone is coming. Post up with your shotgun at a hidden point at the top of the steps or just behind the door frame and blast them as soon as they step in.
It is nearly impossible for someone with an assault rifle to take back a popular camping spot once you have control of it with a shotgun.
5 Methods For Getting more kills

Play-style:
Below, here are 5 quick changes you can make to your playstyle that will help you start getting more kills right away and even avoid dying. Getting more kills is a lot of fun and as a bonus you also get to use all the cool killstreak rewards. Plus, the better you do, the faster you level up which gives you access to more guns, perks, and prestige levels.
#1 - Avoid Sprinting When on the Offensive
This is the biggest mistake newbie players make. You almost never want to sprint when you are on the offensive (i.e. looking for players to kill). The amount of time it takes you to pull your weapon back out and be able to shoot is enormous and if you find someone head on you will almost always die in this situation.
It is better to creep around the map without sprinting so you have quick access to your weapon. Although perks help with this, I prefer to only sprint when moving across a dangerous open space or when I am chasing another player.
#2 - Select the Right Weapon for the Map
A lot of players make the mistake of using the same gun whenever they play Black Ops multiplayer. While I suggest getting comfortable with a few select weapons, there are certain times when it helps to be adept with a few guns.
Some maps are more open and favor longer-ranged weapons. You will not do well at these maps with a submachine gun. On the other hand, it can be difficult to do well with a larger gun at a map like Nuketown where there is a lot of close-quarters fighting. Do not limit yourself to a single weapon on every map. Try a variety of combinations to see what works best for you.
#3 - Select the Right Weapon for Your Opponents
Sometimes you end up against a team that all happen to be camped inside buildings with assault rifles, patrolling the open for people running by. In a situation like this, you could try to approach with an assault rifle, but your attack is not likely to be successful.
If the enemy team is primarly camping, you can have a lot of success and earn a lot of kills in Black Ops multiplayer simply by selecting a Shotgun class and rushing into rooms where people are camping. While it is not my preferred approach, sometimes this is necessary to stop campers.
#4 - Select Perks Based on Teammates and Mode
There are two types of perks: offensive perks and scouting perks. Offensive perks are things that kill other players, whereas scouting perks either get you information (spy plane) or block enemy information (such as the Counter Spy Plane).
When you are playing by yourself or with low-skill teammates, such as in a random team deathmatch, you want to select the killing perks. After all, if your team is bad and they are not getting any kills, why would you want to waste a Spy Plane on them? A Chopper Gunner usually ends random team deathmatch games, so you might as well try to get it as quick as you can with perks like the Napalm Strike.
If you are playing with good teammates (or against good players), the power of scouting perks increases dramatically. Each Spy Plane can often lead to your team netting an extra 5+ kills, and the Counter Spy Plane is great perk as well. It also is a lot harder to shoot Spy Planes out of the sky than it is Helicopters, so these generally stay safe for longer.
#5 - Keep Voting for the Same Map
It is hard to learn the maps very well and figure out what works best if you are constantly changing maps. I recommend voting for the same map over and over again as this gives you a lot of practice on this map.
If you can get a half-dozen matches in a row on the same map, you will be able to quickly see what the leading players are able to do to net so many kills and avoid dying. This way, when you see the map again in a later Black Ops multiplayer match, you will know exactly what to do.

Repeat This every prestige!

Good luck and enjoy getting 15th prestige quickly!
