I disagree with most of this rant:
Only certain people show no respect for newbies.
Only 1 or 2 n*b head gold members are disrespectful to non gold members.
9/10 newbies dont deserve respect anyway because their first post is almost always something 'leechy'
However, for the ones who dont do this: they deserve more than they get.

Agreed, Ive seen many brand new members being flamed. They are NEW to the forum give them advice and tips not commands.
