Open back headphones has no isolation. You want closed ones.

V-moda LP, Ultrasone HFI580, and those Philips headphones r00t recommends (Citiscape Downtown?).

Tyll just did a review on the momentum. Looks good

The LP and HFI580 are around the ear headphones?

Since the pricing where you are is not that great, Try the Creative Aurvana Live and Koss DJ100

Exceptional for the price. They also come with different caps that change the sound, so you can pick whichever you prefer or tune them to what you're listening to.

I bought some Sennheiser 598's and I listen to all forms of rock, some metal, dubstep, and classical. Are these headphones overkill? Oh and I use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

It's not so obvious. People try to troll with "Beats this" and "Beats that" all the time. The fact that you asked for them was why I didn't respond at first. If you want headphones that are similar to the Beats Studio but not garbage, the V-Moda LP is what I'd recommend.

The HD598 is fine, also pretty good for games. The amp is rated at +/- 3db for its frequency response, which is acceptable for normal usage.
