I have no idea what country you're in, so I can't really recommend anything because I don't know if it will be available.

Check out the Yamaha EPH-100SL! They should be around $150 on Amazon. There's a review here:

Your budget:

The sky is the limit, as long as my requirements are met but would prefer around 50$ if possible. But if necessary to go higher to reach my requirements then so be it.

Which genres you'll be listening to?

I use it to mostly watch anime.

What kind you want?

I would like over-ear, My previous pair was a Creative Fatal1ty which I liked a lot. It was the best headset I tried(I haven't tried much), but I got them on a deal for $10 so I think they were worth their value.

My biggest requirement though is I need a sturdy wire. My wires ALWAYS rip, so I need something that can take abuse and like it lol.

My Creative headset was able to last the longest I have had any other headset last but just today it croaked

Whether you want open or closed headphones?

I use my headsets at home and on the plane so I would say closed?

What you are listening from?

My desktop pc via usb converter (because due to incidents headset hits the floor a lot, so at worse I prefer if the usb converter break and not my 3.5mm ports)

My laptop

My Galaxy S with voodoo sound

The Koss DJ100 should fit your needs perfectly! Hardy cable and design, good fairly neutral sound, decent isolation, and they're pretty portable and versatile. I like these cans a lot, and they're exactly $50 on Amazon!

Ok, thanks! I'll give them a shot. I hope the wires last because my luck with wires is so bad that I often even end up having ripped laptop power wires :/

Also out of curiosity, is there a good headset in my range with a replaceable wire that can be replaces easily and on the cheap?

There's a version of the DJ100 with a replaceable cable. But you'd best be a Tony Bennett fan. Or you can get the more expensive DJ200 with a replaceable cable.

When you say 'headset' you mean a headphone with a boom mic right? I've yet to hear of headsets with removable wires...

I've seen this comparison at at least three different websites: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

As much as I dislike Beats, this is the most atrocious comparison concerning headphones I've ever seen...discounting the fact that literally half the chart is wrong (Beats have a case, removable cables, noise isolation) who the heck uses gaming headphones to listen to music? I haven't heard the Electras, but considering every 5.1 implementation I've tried sounded absolutely horrendous, I'd be willing to bet even the Solos sound better. 5.1 and headphones should NEVER pair. Ever.

Ew I just realized that picture is from 9Gag. And TTG needs to be more Android friendly somehow. It takes 10 minutes to make a post because the page wigs out every time I delete something.
