You go on believing that, Mr. overnight headphone expert. If you want to dispute any particular headphone, I can explain in detail why I recommend it. I don't blindly recommend anything, and you've provided zero evidence my recommendations are bad.

Prove it. If I don't know what I'm talking about, I keep my mouth shut and it might serve you well to do the same.

well i would ceap my mouth shut but then it wouldnt make thangs interesting so no im just saying your trashing on most of the well known headphones there well known for a reason so ya beats i amet they are aver rated but if people want to wast there money let them half of the people that own them are kids were there parents had to buy them for them

You'll never be taken seriously unless you start using proper English. I'd seriously laugh if your secret headphone was monoprice, earpollution or some other thing like that. Macbooks are popular, doesn't mean they're good. Skullcandies are popular, and even the top level employees knows that their products are not liked by enthusiasts.

This post. It gave me cancer.

Okay, it took about five minutes to decipher what you said and I'm not even sure I have that right.

Well I would keep my mouth shut, but things wouldn't be as interesting, so no. I'm just saying you're trashing on many well known headphones. What you don't understand is that they're well known for a reason. Beats I admit are overrated but if people want to waste their money, let them. Half of the people that own Beats are kids whose parents bought their Beats for them.

Have you ever heard a little thing called marketing? That, along with word of mouth, is the main reason anything is popular. Through marketing or word of mouth, people are convinced that certain products are superior, whether they are or not. Humans are generally trusting of what they're told, so they take marketing as fact, especially if they aren't well-known in said field of product. Most people aren't computer nerds, and if they're recommended Apple computers because they're told they're easier to use than Windows along with being built better and having a "cool factor," that's enough for people to jump ship. Your average Apple buyer doesn't give a care about a Windows machine being superior for half the price if they aren't as "cool." I wouldn't go so far as to say they're brainwashed like others say, but it is a slightly...daft. I understand Apple computers have their place (from what I've heard, they're superior to Windows in certain tasks)and in those situations, one really can't bash those users, but for at least 70% of other users, it's a silly waste of money now that laptops are finally starting to be made more durable, Thinkpads excluded.

Jesus H&K Christ. I'll do the translation to the best of my ability.

"Well, I would keep my mouth shut, but then it wouldn't make things interesting. I'm just saying you're trashing most of the well-known headphones. They're well-known for a reason. Beats are over-rated but if people want to waste their money, let them. Half of the people that own them are kids whose parents bought them for them."

It's NOT hard to hit the period key every once in awhile.

I don't have a lot of time right now as I'm at work, but you've completely ignored what I said in my previous post. If you're trying to prove something, please do so and stop giving Ishcabible cancer.

We're still interested in learning what headphones you're listening to by the way.

As for Mac advantages, there's:

1. More intuitive default interface
2. Unix platform for stability (and maybe security)
3. Excellent (though not necessarily knowledgeable) customer service
4. You get to join some sort of elitist artistic cult (may not be kidding, and my sister working as an intern at a design firm is certainly feeling the pressure)

Personally I find Linux Mint and other OS much more user friendly. Saving files is a nightmare on my Mac. Stability wise it is about the same with windows 7, maybe a little less. The artistic cult is in fact almost an reality. I do remember seeing a 30000 people survey on OSs and most mac users describe themselves as artistic. While the linux users had traits related to pedophilia and a very high average IQ. (1 standard deviation above the Windows and Mac users if I remember correctly)

They must have really @#%*ed it up to turn it into something as notoriously unstable as Windows (though I admit 7 is far more stable than XP).

Pedophilia and high IQ... now there's an idea

Been listening to the TBSE1s. They're fairly acceptable now, but I find the clamping force to be a little weak, which might explain why they don't sound as closed as I'd expect. Doesn't help that the pads are shallow either. I really don't want to spend $20 on M50 pads, though. Any other suggestions?

Also, say I buy one of these $30 CMoys on eBay. How would they fare compared to the Fiio E5/E6?

Moar powah and they're more neutral. And they're way more customizable than the Fiios, if that's your thing. Op-amp rolling is fun.

Stuff the space between the pads and the drivers with cotton balls? That might suck up a little treble though.

And for the above, look at the JVC FX300, JVC FXC80, or T-Jays Three.
