Save your money and get the V-Moda LP2. You can customize it with colored and personalized shields. They're great bassy portable over-ear cans, and boy are they good to look at.

Do you know of any headphones that has better audio than the monster vektr and are still stylish?

Also are the xtreme explosives better than beats by dre tours? or what kind of ear buds do you suggest that are better than beats by dre or the same.

No need to PM me, believe me, I see everything in this thread.

Some good on-ear cans that don't sound like crap for the price are the V-Moda M80, soon the M100, the Aiaiai TMA-1, Sennheiser HD25-1 II (you can get these custom for more from customcans.co.uk if you're feeling ambitious), Phaiton MS 400, B&W P5, and maybe even the Califronia Headphones Laredo. For the price, they're better than headphones much more expensive than they are.

For IEMs, I'm willing to say anything on my guide is better than the Beats. If you want something that destroys them in every way, the Xeport 5010 is what I would call the best choice. If you want something really nice and probably the most bassy in its price range, the Future Sonics AtrioX is a good option.

My sister just had a listen to the TBSE1s. I think we have a new head-fier on our hands. Coming from the RP-HTX7s, though, I'm not too surprised that she's being wowed.

It shouldn't have taken her this long to start appreciating good sound, but she can't stand IEMs, I still don't have any decent earbuds, and I haven't bought any headphones for myself until now.

I think this is why more people aren't into headphones. They haven't heard the good stuff! It's all downhill from there, or uphill depending how you see it.

If bass is your thing, they're fantastic. I'd expect them to leak a bit but not at unacceptable levels.
