The Ultrasone Pro 750 is a very good over-ear portable headphone, and sounds just about right for you. It folds, swivels, and has a removable cable. There are also some good on-ear options, which might be even better. The Beyerdynamic DT 1350 should be excellent for what you want, but the design may not appeal to you. There's also the B&W P5, but the price/performance is not so great with them and they're more fashion accessory than headphone. However, they are extremely comfortable and good-looking, if that's what you're after. Possibly the best option might be the V-Moda M80. You'll save $100 with them, but it's money well saved. They're indestructible, great-looking, and they sound fantastic. Of all the headphones I mentioned, these would be my choice if I were in your position, but that's just me. They're all very good.

Awesome! Very good information. I'm actually leaning toward the V-moda M80, even though I was thinking over-ear. Do you know anything about the V-MODA Crossfade LP2? They aren't much more.

They're actually very different. The sound quality is not as good, and they have a bassy sound, which doesn't sound like what you want. They're good, but not as good as the M80.

Thanks. That's good to know. One more question about the M-80. Does the sound 'leak' out of the headphones? AS in, if I'm in the car or a classroom and I want to listen loudly, will it be very noticeable?

The M80s don't leak much at all. You're good there.

Over ear!
Creative Aurvana Live or Sony XB700. The XB700 will give you the most bass, but the CAL will have better overall quality.

I love my Dre Beats, I don't think you can go wrong with them tbh.
