CodCreator wrote Bose beats all. You CANNOT bet better than Bose and if you can please prove it I would love to see them.

No, they don't. They overprice just like Monster and Beats electronics do and partake in the same bad business practices. They're crooks, to be frank. Here's some good reading Ishcabible showed me.

Yes, I have. They're still not worth buying, though, since the Xeport and a number of other budget headphones will outdo them quite handily!

Pretty much just get the Xeport 5010. There are other budget headphones that fit the bill, but they will be only marginally better (if they're even better at all) for considerably more. It's hard to recommend anything else for these budget IEM requests!

If anyone else is in need of an O2 board, I have extras! One is going out to Ishcabible.

Just followed what you did and added it to my original post.

Thanks again for the boards! I'm setting up a BOM at the moment, can't wait until I can make it around spring break!

And mind PMing me a picture of the coating chipping on the TMA-1's? I emailed AiAiAi about the TMA-1 Studio and they assured me that they're way more neutral than the TMA-1's, which makes them seem tempting. I have it narrowed down to the Z1000 and the potential AiAiAi, but I'm going to have to buy it before June, when they plan on releasing them and I'm not too keen on taking a leap of faith.

Pictures on the way. I was so bummed by the chipping, which started with the previous owner. These things are also just impossible to keep to my standards of insane cleanliness, so I keep them in the bag. I never use them, under any circumstances. I like the M50 sound better in every way, which is another bummer. They're not bad cans, just totally not for me. While I have them out I'm giving them a listen. I find the M50s much more exciting, detailed, and comfortable. Even on high-energy EDM tracks, I find the TMA-1 relatively boring. Maybe I'm crazy, though. I'm going to give them a little more time.

If you can't get a review unit, I'll trust you with mine. The deciding factor would be my parents who would think I'm an insane moron, but I know better. It's not like I use them, and you'll be able to gauge long-term build quality a bit better!

Listening to these for a bit longer, I'm settling in to their signature a little more. Only with my energetic electro house and moombahton, though. It's easy to see which crowd these are targeted at!

Thanks for the offer! But I'd rather not have you get in trouble with your parents and risk having it lost in the mail. Not to mention that I'm looking for a sound signature that's more like /\ than a V, which is really unfortunate, since I have no options that tick all my boxes. The AKG K550's on paper looked like a good option, but they turned out to be underwhelming and huge. The Amperiors probably won't have good enough mids for me if the HD25 sounds similar (but apparently the Amperiors are bassy and less trebly), the Beyerdynamic DT1350 seems to be too finicky with fit and are uncomfortable (big issue if I'm going to be wearing them for many hours straight and for a 30 hour flight in which IEM's would be intolerable in). The V-Moda's seem to not have enough mids (I was supposed to get an M80 from the CEO but I think he got annoyed by me...). The Sony CD900ST is a bit too flat, so the Sony Z1000 is really the only portable choice. A PRO900 would have been perfect if I didn't listen to mostly indie-folk. That seems to be the genre that the portable manufacturers care least about. If I can find a Pioneer HDJ2000 for like $150 used, that'd be hard to say no to too... They're more friendly for travelling than the non-foldable Sony's.

And I used a pair of those Plugz. I don't like to say this too often but my god those were atrocious. Almost as bad as the Koss Sparkplugs, which are the worst thing Koss has ever made.

Oh, speaking of Koss, I got the SP3's yesterday. They smelled absolutely disgusting (more musty than my 1930's trumpet and 1920's sax did) and its padding was deteriorated so much that I just stuffed it back in its box and I'm waiting until this weekend to do anything with them. I'll have to repaint the rusted adjusters and buy some memory foam for padding. I was too scared to put them on my head, so no sound impressions yet.
