In order to play burnt disc you need to have your xbox flashed. Also when you download a game to harddrive and it isn't purchased from games on demand you have to have the disc in. Installing the game just helps loading times and keeps your xbox from overheating.

also qoute on that to but um pretty much i have the real copy of game and i burn to hard drive i get new console cause old one breaking down or disk tray proublms per say and i did fix it but im still working on it just need to find out how to make it spin faster cuase its getting stuck sorta but continuing im on new xbox my cod 4 is scratched up so it keeps giveing me disk unreadable errors so i need to play it off hard drive but when i try to play it sas cant cause it was burnt on differnt console and sas to reburn it on this one then continue so im trying to change console ids on the saved full version of game i burnt to it before to new one but cant find the game on hard drive and im asking you guys where i could find it cause iv searched for quite a bit so i needed help would be very gratefull if some one could tell me where to find it on hard drive. and thanks

lol misunderstanding XD like when i mean i burnt it to hard drive i installed to hard drive thats my way of saying it sry but now im trying to find it on my hard drive and give it the new console id cause i cant re install it but cant find it need help finding it plz help.

If its still on the old Harddrive it will be in the section "Call of Duty 4" It should show your save game and then the disc saved on it. If it doesn't I have no clue.

so your saying you had a xbox that was FLASHED? and had CoD installed to your hard drive.

and now you Updated your xbox,and it patched your software?? so its not allowing you to play the disc?

well if this is the case then you need to flash back to stock and update your software to LT+? so that way it will be able to read your disc

even tho your disc is installed to your xbox since its not flashed anymore it CANT read the disc

well it doesnt quite have to do with it being flashed like ok bassically lets get rid of the whole flashed part ok

now i installed game to hard drive on old console and it wont let me play on new console cause it sas that it was installed on differnt console i cant reinstall with disk cause its scratched up now [disk is retail copy of disk not burnt copy] so im trying to find the installed version of game on my hard drive on pc and cant find it what im trying to do is change the ids of the console of the previously installed game to the new one but cant find where its held so im asking if any of you can tell me where it might be and im not useing usb eather. sry for any misunderstandings but plz help and thanks.
