i think it should be free cause microsoft has enough money to pay for security and junk and they get enough money from ms pints and other stufff like that anyways..

Microsoft could be hacked just as easily as the ps3 no matter how many firewalls and how much security is backing it up it's possible to still do it. The only reason ps3 was down that long was because yet rebuild the whole thing. Now that that is out of te way yeah it should be free I pay a lot of money for Internet plus buy games and paid for my system so I can't play with my friends why?

well yes i think it should be paid for so it is maintained at a high level but it should be less expensive because microsoft still make MILLIONS anyway from xbox lets face it , things like ms points dont cost any money to generate yet they sell them overpriced aswell! obviously they need to make a profit but they should lower prices a little.
