Ok everywhere I go on the forums I see.... ISO this and Hotswap that.
Well, I decided to make a tutorial to help everyone.
This tutorial is on how to prepare for Hotswap

Items Needed:T 10 Screw Driver, Plastic Baggy, Xbox 360, Paperclip, Flat Head Screw Driver, Phillip Screw Driver.

Step 1. First off you have to take your Xbox 360 apart to prepare for the Hotswap Method. To begin take off the front of your Xbox 360 where the power button is. This is as simple as putting your middle and pointer finger of your right hand into your memory slot and pulling. It will easily come off and set it to the side.

2. Now it is time to take off the top. Stand your Xbox 360 like you normally would and take the paper clip you have. Now you will see holes on the side of the Xbox 360 near the top. Unfold the paper clip and stick in into each hole that is halfway filed up and the other half has plastic in it. Go underneath the plastic and pull up. Now after you do this all you have to do is pull it out. Also set this to the side.

3. Now to the part with the hard drive. Pop your hard drive out and then all you have to do is simply pull the plastic part off.

WARNING... If you wish to continue you will have to end your life time warranty from Xbox if you do not wish to do this please pop all pieces back into place and enjoy your mod-less life. If you are not scared and believe that you can do this continue.

4. Now it is finally time to take the cover off of your Xbox 360. Ok take a look at the front of your Xbox 360 where we did the first step. You will see a sticker like this.

Please peal this off and you will see a clip. Now it is time for you to use the flat head screw driver. You will see 3 clips stick the flat head in each of them and push until you here a click. Now you can pull the Xbox 360 Cover apart. Pull on the cover until it clips off. "Keep pulling it doesn't matter if you think it is going to break it will not.

5. Now it is time to use the t 10 and the plastic baggy. Flip the Xbox 360 over to the side with out the plastic cover and you will see metal and a lot of screws. Take out these 6 screws with the t 10 screw driver. Now to make sure you do not lose any of the screws take them and put them in the plastic baggy. Now you may flip the Xbox 360 over and simply pull the other half of the cover off.

6. You can now see that the end is almost near. All we have left to do it take the disc drive apart. You can simply wiggle the disc drive so you can hold it then simply wiggle the cords in the back until they come out. Now you will have to use the Phillips Screw Driver. Take out the screws making sure to put them in the baggy. Then simply pull the top off and you can see your disc tray. Now put the cords back in the back and firmly place the disc tray on the mother board making sure not to touch it. (There are holding places for it.) Now you will see the top of the disc tray has a sticker on it. Pull the sticker off. Now you will see the magnet that makes your games spin. Get you flat head and push under it until it on clips. Two parts will then be there put them back together and then put it on whatever disk you are using.
Finally the time we have all waited for the preparing of the Hotswap Method is done give your self a pat on the back.

If this helped you at all please rep and give thumbs up!

Forums/viewtopic/t=155031/start=190.html

Here's the post for it, but I'm not sure the way in the thread above even works to be honest, because I have been trying for ages now.

So i don't need my xbox flashed for this method, I just need it open?

Yes, this is pretty much the less costly method instead of flashing. All you need is it open.
