This thread is a collection of resources and tutorials on nearly everything you would want to do with your PS3 Console


You Can only jailbreak 3.55 Firmware NOT 3.66 !


So you want to jailbreak your 3.55 PS3

1) You need to make sure you are on the official sony 3.55 firmware (located Here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

2) You will need a 3.55 Custom Firmware (located Here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

3) Create a folder named PS3. Then a folder called UPDATE In the root of your USB Flash Drive and in the UPDATE folder drag and drop the PS3UPDAT.PUP

4) How to host a 10th/Challenge Lobby (If you want to host on 3.66 you will have to data transfer from your jailbroken 3.55 PS3 to your 3.66 PS3 i will show you how to do that in step 5)


Go to /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30377/USRDIR/ (MW2 Game ID)

How to get free PSN Games
1. First you are going to need PlayStation PLUS. It's pretty cheap though.

2. Navigate to the psn plus section and pick a trial of a game that you want full version of.

3. Click X and go through all options. It will start to download once prepared

4. Click download in background.

5.Then press O to exit playstation store, Delete the trial downloading in the download section.

6. Then navigate back to psn store and go to psn plus, you should have an "already bought sign" buy the full game download it and play for trial time 60 minutes...

7. Once played for 60 minutes, go and download again.

8. Once downloaded you can play forever.



How to Bypass(You only get into to 10th/Xp Games ect)

Step 1 - Download Elite Mossy Patch Blocker - Elite mossy Patch blocker

Step 2 - On your PS3 Go to PS3 > Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings

Step 3 - Fill out settings until you get to Proxy Server

Step 4 - Click Start Blocking on the Patch Blocker on your computer

Step 5 - Click Proxy Server/Use and enter the inforation from the patch blocker onto your PS3.

Step 6 - Continue Through Settings and test connection and sign in to Playstaion Network

Step 7 - Go to Game > Game Data Utility & delete the MW2 file.

Step 8 - Load up MW2, Go on Multiplayer and Play Online and search for Free-For-All

Step 9 - Almost Everytime You Will Be In Hacked Lobby

How to use Call of Duty 4 bypass Codes

1. put the original save data onto usb
2. go to your computer then open usb
3.copy and paste the extracted codes into flashdrive
4.overwrite both files
5.plug usb into ps3
6. go to usb drive in saved data utillity folder and copy the COD 4 file
7.Press Yes to overwrite
8.ENJOY COD 4 MOD MENU

Thanks mate it took a bit of time to find all of the resources and type some of the stuff up. I Am also taking requests so if there is something you or anyone wants to know how to do just post below and hopefully the mw2 10th with usb will stop a bit of spam
