Hello guys, you probally never saw me post really, but i was Hybernating on member Shoutbox for the Past Year So, i've decided to prove my self to the community what im capable of and here is my tutorial, please Thank the Topic and +Rep if you like this cause it took some Effort and time to create for you guys

So, I was bored and decided to make a tutorial on how to setup your JTAG, as some people would appreciate a tutorial like this. Anyway, let's get started.

**Note: This is an original tutorial made by ME, - Jonez From TTG.

$===================================== XeX Menu ======================================$

Probably the most important, and usually the first thing you should do after you get/make a JTAG.

Requirements:
1. Download XeX menu from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] [Shares > Xbox 360 > Dashboards > XeXMenu_v1.1_ISO.rar

2. Download Image Burn from: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3. A blank CD (At least 60MB)

4. A DVD drive that is capable of writing CD's.

(Please Note, if any Downloads are Not working you will have to use Google )

How to install:

1. Download all of the required files in the requirements.

2. Install Imageburn.

3. Put blank CD into your DVD drive.

4. Now extract the XeX menu disc image onto your desktop.

5. Right click on the XeX menu ISO and click open with > ImgBurn.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

6. Now when ImgBurn opens up click the thing at the bottom the says 'write' if you hover your mouse over it, and looks like a sheet of paper with a CD on it.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

7. After the CD finishes writing (it shouldn't take longer than five minutes) pop the CD into your JTAGed Xbox 360.

8. After you put the CD in and start up the 'game' then press RB to see your HDD content.

9. Now press X and scroll down to DVD, and you should see a CODE999 folder, press Y and copy that folder.

10.After the folder is copied, go back to your HDD by pressing X, go into your content > 0000000000000000 folder, press Y and select paste. (if the 0000000000000000 folder isn't there then create one, by pressing Y > create and name it 16 Zeros)

$================== Quick Setup Of External Hard Drive ==================$

So I figured I would put this in here, because a lot of people ask 'How should I setup my hard drive?'. Well, this is exactly how to Setup your hard drive.

Requirements:

1. External hard drive, that can connect to your computer, and Xbox 360.

2. All of the files I have provided in the tutorial.

Tutorial:

1. Ok, for the most important part of an external hard drive, Basically what it does is a formater to make your hard drive readable for your JTAG.

2. If you do not want to download that file for some reason, I am going to write a brief description of the folders in the external hard drive:
>Games
>Emulators
>Music
>Videos
>Freestyle Dash
>Applications
>Mods

3. Now, this is my personal external hard drive setup, so you can make yours different if you want, but keep emulators, games, music, videos, and freestyle dash(unless your not interested in freestyle dash).

$================================== Burning ISO's ==================================$

This is one of the main reasons people get a JTAG (other that modding in CoD). To download free games, and play them on your Xbox.

Requirements:

1. Image Burn,

2. A pack of CD's that are at least 7GB, I prefer Verbatim DVD+R DL (DL=Double Layer) OR an external hard drive (I personally prefer using an external hard drive, but either should work fine) with a USB cable that can connect to it, and an Xbox and computer.

3. An ISO to burn (you can get almost any ISO using torrents, or [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (you need to make an account on thetechgame.org which doesn't take long)

4. WXRipper, (YOU ONLY NEED THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE)

5. X360GameHack, (ONCE AGAIN: YOU ONLY NEED THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE)

6. A DVD drive that is capable of writing CD's (ONLY IF YOU ARE USING THE CD WAY).

Tutorial (Using CD's):

1. First download your ISO from wherever you want, preferably thetechgame.org, because I can't seem to find many ISO's when I use torrents, but again either works if you can find what you are looking for. (Jonez From TTG Made This Tutorial)

2. Now the ISO's usually come in parts when downloading from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and sometimes from torrents too so I will tell you how to make the parts into one ISO.

3. This is very simple, and this is usually the case for all of the ISO's that come in parts, after you download all of the parts stick all of the RAR files that you have downloaded into one folder.

4. Then all you have to do is take ONE ISO out of ONE of the RAR files (there is sometimes a disc image in there too, so extract it from the RAR file that says 'Part 1' if there's a disc image extract it with the ISO, but if there is not image file then it should still work just fine). (Jonez From TTG Made this Tutorial)

5. Now after you have the ISO, and possibly disc image extracted right click > go to open with > ImgBurn.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

6. Now put your blank CD into your DVD drive, and write the ISO to your CD.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

7. After this put you CD into your JTAGed Xbox, and have fun! (P.S. this will work for a flashed Xbox 360 as well, and NO you do not NEED to run this threw abgx360).

Tutorial (Using External Hard Drive):

1. First download your ISO from wherever you want, preferably thetechgame.org, because I can't seem to find many ISO's when I use torrents, but again either works if you can find what you are looking for.

2. Now the ISO's usually come in parts when downloading from thetechgame.org, and sometimes from torrents too so I will tell you how to make the parts into one ISO.

5. After you have got your ISO then open up the WXripper folder, or RAR, and open up wx360 NOT wxripper. (Jonez from TTG Made this Tutorial)

6. Now click on the folder icon on the top left, and find your ISO in your PC hard drive.

7. After you find your ISO, and load it up in wx360 highlight all of the contents from your ISO, and click extract and create a folder to extract it to.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

8. After this drag the folder that you extracted the contents to for the ISO into you 'Games' folder in your External Hard drive.

9. Finally, open up X360GameHack and search for the folder that you put the contents of your ISO in, make sure your settings are exactly like mine, and click Fix.(Ex: JTAGHardDrive > Games > Portal 2) (This tutorial was Made by = Jonez from TTG)

And there you go hope you enjoyed my tutorial sorry for the mistakes if there are any this took me a while to find the links but i made a little notepad brief tutorial and i added some more detail into the proper tutorial like so. Hope you enjoyed and overall hope the helped you! - Dime

Well, that's all for now. Although don't forget to check this thread often, as I will be updating this thread as much I can.

Thanks for viewing my thread, and happy modding! - Jonez From TTG

Nice tutorial Jones, glad to see you've decided to become active and create a tutorial, it's very informative. Don't worry about getting no replies, it may be due to some members not appreciating the work done by others or newer topics and posts get created and get placed above your tutorial. Keep making tutorials, here's some reputation, also I thanked the topic.
Good job.

This is a great tutorial but other than everything being in blue it is good. I hate all of the blue it makes it hard to concentrate make it black and some text that is important in blue. I think that this might be stickied soon it is good. You might put some more stuff into it though.

Also align the text to the center makes everything look more organized, but regardless thanks for this I'll be coming back here from time to time. Hope you decide to update it with more tutorials as well!
