Hi, recently my computer has been acting up and randomly it shuts down and gives me the blue screen telling me about the memory dump or whatever. I can access browsers and all my other programs fine but my AVG keeps saying it needs to update and repair itself. I'v done that numerous times and it says it's working but after a while it tells me it needs to restart the computer. Iv done virus scans, root kit scans and the windows system repair thing. Also I'v tried looking at the reports of the dumps but I don't have a program which opens them (what should I use? Notepad?). I also read somewhere that the crashes might be due to something intruding on the windows memory and it turns itself off to pretect it, Is that correct? Any help would be appreciated, plus rep an' all.
