If you are attempting to update to iOS 5 and you are getting an error code 3194 I know how to fix it! What you need to do is go to windows/system32/drivers/etc
then find the file Host
Open it with Notepad and delete the line at the very bottom of the file it should have numbers and then it should be gs.apple.com. delete that line then restart your computer.
Open iTunes and restore to iOS 5!
