once it is saved as a .jpg or a .png or any other file type you cannot backtrack and make it a .psd

you'd need to make one from scratch

yeah you can, you can save the png or jpg file, and resave it as a psd. if he wants there to be layers you can just laso tool each part out, time consuming but still works.

haha yeah I wasnt trying to be mean, lol but yeah its just like you are rendering an image but your gonna have to render the whole thing onto different layers but none of the effect that are on there can be changed you can only add, but theres lots of ways to render it I use the laso or the pen tool.
