True, when dealin with a damaged disc this works. Could be a laser problem. May need to be replaced

try blowing in the disk tray otherwise just take it to the compute shop

Check your disks.. If you see a large scratch or possibly a few large scratches take it to a game shop.. (Game Exchange, Game, Game station etc) They can clean it (fix it)..

define irony, just yesterday i opened up my xbox and had fix this problem, but you dont usually have to open it. ill pm to go into detail.
