Hiya guys i was wondering how does gifting gold work because my friend is trying to gift me.

He has to be Gold, then he has to go to your account page and click the "Give the Gift of Gold" towards the bottom

Your friend needs gold first of all. If he has gold then he can go to your profile and he has the option to gift gold. When he clicks on it then he will be directed to his paypal. Then he can pay and you have gold.
