Here I will post screenshots of Notch's twitter, and a description of what the planned item / block will be!

Pistons: A mod that exists on the minecraft forum that Jeb and Notch want to implement it into the game, this is from Jeb's status :
Hatches / Trap doors: This one will have a few pictures explaining how it would work when implemented.
Tweet talking of hatches / trap doors themselves.
Which way traps would go.
The Dimensions of the hatch.
