Try do press the guide button and go back to the dashboard, or turn off your xbox, check your disc, make sure their aren't any circles scratched into the disc.

Put your brightness all the way up and keep holding it up. Do this until your screen goes back to normal.

You get that from joining a bad Infection lobby.

First of all the black screen can be taken off you just have to squint your eyes and try to find the brightness option and just move it all the way to the left and then back over to the right and it will go back to normal.

BUT the gamma however CAN ONLY BE CHANGED IF YOU MODIFY THE GAMMA CODING BACK TO 1 OR 2 DEPENDING on your tv settings.

Either way if you press the guide button it changes the screen back to normal until you get rid of the guide button.

Could be brightness OR it could be a dick error.

Try leaving it alone and trying again later. If that doesn't work then try exchanging it at your local gamestop for another.

Find your way back to options by pressing xbox live guide button and once you grt to options go to brightness and turn it ALL the way back up hope i helped 8)
