Ok well I have jagged about 5 consles and I currently have 3 of my own. I have a old falcon which I bought awhile back and I opened it up to clean it and sell it when I noticed it was jtagged with a wire connecting to the interal board power button thing. I was just wonder why this is. The Jtag works great but I seen a Jtag that looked like this. If someone knows what this plz post it below it would help me out cause im trying to figure out why the wire is there. Also I can't take the mobo out because in order to to take it out I need to remove the power button and that would require taking the wire off.

That is where the wires go on HDMI consoles.

You need it there to be jtagged. It is used for the SMC hack which lets you boot into a rebooter/unsigned code

Really didn't know that thanks for the info. But how would you take out the mobo then?

There are 3 screws on the Ring of Light board. Just unscrew them and it should pull off (Might need to pull on it a bit)

No don't pull the wire off or else you will have to put it back on.

The jtag wont boot to a hacked kernel if the wire isnt on
