right this will work on normal xbox or jtag xbox i used it and it worked

1st get some thing that will fit in the back off your xbox to block the fans from moveing there is two fans you will nedd to block off

2nd thing wait for about 15mins for the xbox to over heat then it will come up with 2 red lights when that happends pull ur cable out from the plug socket and unplug every thing and take the thing out what u r blocking the fans with

3erd wait for it to cool down for about 20mins then plug it all back in turn it on and it will work

ps this might sound stupid but it %100 works you have to fix it by braking it again lol try it out this will do no damge to ur xbox or jtag

ps +rep if i help you and post legit thankzz

This WILL do damage to your xbox. Don't say oxymorons like "you have to break it to fix it". You break it, then you break it.

If you have the mobo properly jigged and focus the heat on the essential areas its not bad at all. Im not saying its the best option, obviuosly reballing would be the best option. However rather than people believing that jamming things in fans is any kind of fix i figured i would share my tried and tested method.
I have fluxed and reflowed many consoles and always replace the clamps after and have only had very few returns.
The only bad thing is people that have no experience posting rubbish to other impressionable people!

No no, doesn't matter what you do..The heat gun is used to remove paint, not Reflow solder...

You need to accurately keep track of the board temp and the BGA temp...Using a Rework or IR machine is the best option for Reflowing...

Not only for the thermocouples, but as for increasing the temp by 1-3 degrees...Flux or not, you cannot achieve this with a heatgun..
