I built a new pc in may and only just realised that my ram isn't being recognised and is functioning at a third of what its capable of

as you can see, on speccy it doesn't know what ram I have and it only runs at 1066mhz.
The ram sticks i have are the g.skills trident z rgb 3000mhz ddr4. can anybody help pls?

Its unlikely that you have 32GB of ram so I'd say that it's showing what you have which is good.

Only problem I can see is that your speed, as you said, is slower. Yours is showing 1066 which if you double that, [DDR = Double Data Rate] = 2132

In your BIOS, you should be able to set it to 2400, 2666, 2800, 3000, 3200. That's if your motherboard supports that speed. You might need to do a BIOS update to get the correct speed
