I purchased an iPhone off eBay with the seller stating it was unlocked and ready to be used.
Attempted to restore it today and I have been granted with an iCloud password that must be entered to allow me access to the handset.
Have tried numerous attempts to message the seller to try and resolve this problem but they have been unresponsive in this matter.
Is there any possible way (possibly with Jailbreak) to bypass this method?
If not somehow I will need to open a claim with the person.

IIRC there's no way to remove an icloud lock, open a dispute on paypal if they don't respond.
