My current PS4 hard drive is only 500GB. And I've noticed over time that it won't be enough for my games. So I'm looking to buy a 1TB hard drive that I could then install into my PS4 and transfer all the data from my old (500GB) hard drive to my new (1TB) one. Only problem is, I've looked online and I've seen a bunch of different physical sizes for the PS4 1TB hard drive (Like in millimeters). I'm not sure what size my 500GB is right now, and I don't know what size I need to buy my 1TB at. If anyone knows about hard drives or knows what size the PS4 hard drive is, I would appreciate it if you replied on this topic. I have the original PS4, not the slim or pro PS4, if it makes any difference. Thank you

The minimum specifications for a PS4 hard drive is that it needs to be a 2.5-inch SATA II drive and run at least 5400RPM.

I tried this method worked but involves buying a 2 TB usb 3.0 and removing the HDD
Not people who are daunted by this.
I paid £65 for a 2 TB
