So I recently bought a used HP laptop from a family member and they lost their password. Created a new account but wants to keep the files and pictures that are saved on it. Is there anyway around the password? I have tried the shift click method and tried to boot in safe mode but still wants me to user her password? Any help is greatly appreciated! + rep

Use Hiren 's boot CD to change the password.
