Hi all, my name is Chris. I have put together a parts list and would appreciate any and all advice. This build is strictly for gaming. Will need a keyboard and mouse. No monitor because I will use my tv Sony 720p @ 60hz for now until I save for something better. My buget is $1000 usd to $1100 usd. The first game I'll be playing is Fallout 4 but also like battle field, modern warfare and some retro games. I'm curious if my parts are all compatible, if there's anything I'm missing and if this is a good setup together? Are there better parts for the price? I'm new to pc gaming and I did a bunch of reading while putting together this list but I just want to be sure this is right before I pull the trigger and buy.

I couldn't tell you much about your build because I'm not big into parts and stuff but I'd recommend waiting till prices drop either cyber Monday or after or before Christmas to get the bst deals. Just A tip

You should upgrade to 16GB of ram.
Instead of a 500GB SSD, get a 250GB or lower then get a 1TB hard drive.

Just like Skates said, get 16 GB of RAM. Try to get two sticks of 8GB, just in case, one stick craps out. Nice build!

Thanks for the replies. I definitely don't want to wait until xmas to buy though I'm sure you're right the sales would be great.
As far as more ram I was hoping 8gb would be enough to get going and add more later. The same goes for the hdd. I don't want to go over my limit and I didn't want to sacrifice quality over quantity.
Also do I need to buy any cables for this build?

That's what you want. Use any cheap keyboard for now, until you can upgrade to a nice mech keyboard.
H7>212 EVO. It doesn't make sense to get a smaller SSD just to fit a little more RAM in. 8GB is plenty for now, and you can easily add another 8GB at any point, plus it's not expensive. A 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD would be about the same price as a 480-512GB SSD, but the larger SSD would make more sense, and you can add an HDD later if you need/want. Nice, good quality case and PSU. GTX 1060 6GB is a great card and I included a nice ultrawide 75Hz monitor for you, since 720p would make no sense with your budget. I also included a nice RGB mouse.

Wow thanks Hush and 13 for the build lists. I know my tv is the weak link but I would rather put the money in the rig and get a monitor for xmas. I'm still hesitant in pulling the trigger especially now that you guys gave me more options lol. I guess some of it is preference of parts or manufacturers. There's a micro center a few miles from me and they have some deals with mobo & processors I want to check out and ask some questions before I make my final choice.

& it came with a 5 yr gaurantee played division gta v siege all with no problems
