I've been a long time fan of the Dragon Ball series, like a real long time. Therefore I feel obliged to watch DB Super or else I'm missing out on something that's always been part of my life.
That being said I'm up to like episode 11 now and I think the animation looks pretty crappy. I'm hoping that it gets better because I have a feeling some bad ass stuff is to come.
Can anyone confirm that animation improves or is this it? Also non-spoiler review of the series from anyone would be dope.

Yeah dude I love DB so I highly recommend it. Dragon ball is awesome but I think it's better to start with DBZ and if you enjoy it, then watch Dragon Ball after.
Still forming an opinion on Super.

I can't give you really any information at all on the series as I haven't watched it yet but I remember a couple of months ago regarding the animation is does get better as the series goes on, or so I have been told I think they have improved massively.
Regarding the story, I have read upon the arcs and the latest one sounds awesome and a returning character from DBZ is back so that's awesome, I think they've also re-written some of the movies and made them part of the show.

Nice dude I'll be sure to stick with it then. I just want to see some dope ass fights tbh. I love DBZ and all the silly shit that comes with characters like Hercule and Krillin but I'm about 16 episodes deep and it's pretty much just covered the most recent movie and some light filler so I'm hoping the a more serious tone comes in soon. Keep watching! It gets so much better later on. It will all be worth it in the end. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil, but the first two parts of the show are the two movies.
