I'm thinking of doing some freelance work but I'm not too sure what to search for. Whats the job title for someone who, for example, gets pictures or whatever (usually copied things that would come in picture format) and then types it all up in a word document so people can edit it easy etc.

I was thinking data entry but I'm pretty sure that's mainly excel stuff.

Data Entry sounds like a good title.

Data entry is simply inputting data into a computer. For example you get a sheet of paper from people out in the field showing a layout of something, the data entry person takes that piece of paper and re-creates that in digital form.

I would think that data entry is probably the best title. Even though you're not putting things from paper online, it sounds like you're taking multiple sources and compiling them into one for easy editing / viewing.

Thanks, I have just found out the proper title. 'Copy Typist'.

Neither have I. But googling Copy Typist seems to come up with the description and job sites so I guess it's a thing
