Is it better to buy a gtx 980ti or a 1070? What are the pro and cons of both in comparison?

GTX 980Ti has more CUDA cores so better for editing/rendering tasks. However, the GTX 1070 is newer so has newer tech, a huge die shrink, etc, and is also slightly faster in games(overall). The GTX 1070 is more efficient as well. You can run two of them on a good 650W PSU, whereas you'd want a good 850W PSU for two 980Ti's. So, if you're gaming, GTX 1070. If you're editing/rendering, maybe a 980Ti instead.

Hmmm okay thanks, say on gpubenchmark site that its really close in performance(dont know if the site is good). But i can buy the 980Ti a lot cheaper, so you think its worth like 100 euro more for the 1070? Its mostly for gaming btw.

1070. Its more close to a Titan's performance so it's an obvious yes.
