You do, or at least a good enough degree. I'm thinking he is planning on finishing school just doesn't know what he wants to do with his life.
So even if he wanted to join he'd have to pick up those star credits right?

Yup. He better get them credits somehow. Either by taking a morning class in addition to after school or something

Dont let anyone choose for you. Its your decision, you are signing your life away for the next 4 or 6 years.

He could also just get a GED instead of finishing high school. My brother did that when he decided to go to the military. He never went to the military though lol

Thank you guys for your opinions. I obviously can't respond to all of the comments but I mean you guys opened up my mind a bit more. I am finishing school no matter how long it takes because I mean it'll be easier for jobs for me if I do not decide to go to the Military and if I do not choose it as my life career, I will be looking into college(I have started that though). I did some research and talked to a Marine and a reserve for the U.S Army as well. I also saw training videos and went onto the websites as well for the army. I looked into Air Force, Marine and Army actives. I have an idea already for what I could do for my life path if I do not wish to do military. I understand completely from everyone saying if I am asking if I should join, I am not 100% committed and everyone who said I should, but it would be worth an experience for helping me in life if I do not make out of training. Also for people who said I have to be 100% committed, I saw the BUD/s program for Navy, it made me look at how 100+ people can turn to 15 people easily from being not committed and to not being able to complete training. I went by if I don't feel like I can pass training, I am not going to make it out on Active Duty. So I took that into consideration for my decision. I will look further into this as days go on and focus onto my school work. Thank you guys.
