[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . I bought it at the start of the year and have had no problems with it whatsoever. The sound quality is amazing.

But now all of the sudden the mic isn't working. The headphones still work perfectly. When I "listen to this device" I can hear a feint static sound but not my voice.

I've tried everything with the drivers I could possibly think of. Restarted my PC probably a dozen times. I've tried troubleshooting. Nothing. All levels and stuff are maxed out, the mic is enable and not muted. I've tried using another USB port, nothing.

I tried the headset in another PC but it didn't work there either. I was thinking that maybe there was a short in the cord but my PC still picks up the connection + I can hear static.

Hm. Something weird now while I'm listen to play back. When I type on my keyboard, I can hear a feint beep with I every key I press. I'm tapping on the edge of my keyboard and I don't hear it. It's only when I press a key.

Strange but genuine question, have you ever put the mic itself inside of your mouth? If not, do you breathe closely to the mic?

Lol, no. I've barely used to the mic on it. But the times I have, it worked perfectly fine.

You've most probably got a faulty cord inside the headset itself, PM me and I'll point you in the correct direction to get your headset fixed or replaced.
