Alright I'm looking for a particular song that I really know nothing about other than I may recognize it when I see it but I will definitely recognize it when I hear it. So what I'm asking is is there a way to view every song recorded in a particular year? I know it is a real song. At least I hope I didn't dream it up. thanks

I don't even know what to say.

More than a million songs are released annually but needless to say, there are more songs than anyone can ever listen to in a lifetime if they did nothing else but listen to songs. There's no way that you'll be able to find that song unless you know the lyrics.

even a word or two of the song could help mate! your best bet would be youtube songs 2016 they normally come up just for this year

All I remember is is that it's a male singer and it's about a boy walking through a door then becoming a man and told to not look back through the door. If that makes sense. Has to be at least from 2006 and back. For some reason my child self really liked this song. I got rid of the iPod that the song was on. And it's been bugging me ever since wondering what the song is.

Pop maybe but there was a lot of techno on the iPod it was on so possibly that as well.
