I guess this could've been posted in the CS:GO forum, but are curved screens good for CS? Recommended or useless?

Just built a whole new setup around $8k and the last thing I am buying is my last monitor. Thanks

Got the job I've been trying to get for years now and I don't have a kid, wife or house. Finally able to buy things I want without worrying about bills. And yes it may be able to control minds

A curved monitor isn't going to make much difference, I have a 30 inch curved monitor and the only difference I have noticed is not a lot of games support ultra wide. Also please tell me you need that pc for work, you could build a pc to run cs:go for next to nothing

I use my comp to look at my works board but that's about it, I use it for running multiple editing softwares and just anything I want, I didn't want to spend money for a computer that has a limit. I am a CSX train conductor

$8k for CSGO is stoopid.

CSGO on a curved screen wouldn't be too favourable, IMO. For CSGO, you'd want something like a nice 1440p 144Hz+ IPS monitor.

The monitor you should get, depends entirely on your system specs though IMO. You might be best going 4k, or maybe ultrawide 3440x1440.

Sounds like you have quite the set-up there! But as far as having a curved monitor for CS:GO, pretty much useless. If you are a casual gamer and just mess around on the game, then sure it may be fun. But if you are more competitive and want the biggest edge on the opponent, then a 144hz 1080p monitor would be the best. Or if money is not a problem for you, I would get the 165hz 1440p monitor. However, all of the monitors with 165hz are 27", personally, for a game like CS:GO, I would perfer a 24" monitor. Regardless, both monitors will do the trick, just be sure to get a 144hz or higher if you are going for the competitive route.

Edit: Sorry for the majority of people avoiding your question and not giving you an answer, I hope this helped. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will TRY to help you.
