Turtle Beaches x12's. Way better than XL1's to be honest.

Turtle Beach P12's for my PS4 & PC.

They were cheap, and they work just fine. My only problem is I absolutely hate wearing them, or any headset for an extended amount of time.

Astro a40s. Very durable, still going strong at 5 years and I love em so much. Once they break, I'm getting another pair

Everyone is starting to say Turtle Beach X12's and XL1's, but there is a good headset that is better than Turtle Beach. No I'm not talking about Astro's A40's, but a slightly smaller brand of you may please.

I've been a console gamer for a long time, since I was 3, and I've had my fair share of Xbox headsets. From offbrand cheap Walmart mics, to Turtle Beach's. And I think I made my own decision. I've owned 3 Afterglow mics and they all stopped working in around 6 months-12-months. I've also had two Turtle Beach X12's and they broke, the wires inside the box everytime, around 5-10 months.

Now, I wanted to buy a new mic. Something different. So I went to my local GameStop and picked up a pair of Triton Kana's. I've had this headset for well over a year and a half now and I gotta say, I love them. Very comfy when playing for long hours, kinda basic, but better than X12's by far.

Hope I helped out! And give them a look.
