I'm 16, and want to volunteer in Africa, however its convincing parents. Please give me some suggestions to sway them to letting me go.

I have always wanted to go to Africa

but i mean if your parents say no there is not much you can do

Well you are 16 its not like you are a child anymore but i assume you need your parents to fund it? if they wont the best way to get funds would probably be starting a godfundme page (You would be surprised the amount of random people who sometimes donate to you and especially since you are volunteering you should be able to get abit of money).

But if they just dont want you to go due to safety then im pretty sure you can go still if you want considering you're 16, i might be wrong though.

Its great that you want to go to help and everything, but you're only 16. Why not wait a few years and make sure that's definitely what you want to do.
