So I have an asrock motherboard and it seems to be having problems when I try installing windows 7. IDK why because an OS installs to the harddive. I've been reading and it seems the problem is the driver for the mother board. So I if I use a computer that allows me to install the OS and then download the updated driver for the asrock mother board, and put the harddive back into the asrock motherboard, will it run right ? If your confused by this, let me know so I can't try to explain better

Then how do you know it is the mobo and not the actual file you are using to install with? Disk may be scratched or file on usb may be corrupted

At what stage of the install does it freeze? Does the motherboard POST? Can you boot to the install media?
