Hi guys i will be getting my first car either later this year or early next year i was just wondering what people would recommend as a good first car? budget 3000-8000

p.s. in Ireland so please dont just say cars that are mainly in America!

Look on Craigslist for one you like, then o some research on it.

Look at the young drivers that live near you, what do they drive? find something similar to them, small engine and cheap to insure. I would recommend looking at Minis, Corsas and Clios. If you don't fancy them look for a car which is max 1.6L, my insurance is currently on my first year is £1200 on a 2002 Mini Cooper 1.6L.

I wish I could afford that. Where I live mommy and daddy buy kids brand new diesel trucks and luxury cars rofl.

Yeah they were some of the cars I was thinking about! Definitely not going over 1.6 anyway
