My ethernet cable is not detected on my pc. There is no driver for it in device manager.
Ethernet worked yesterday but not today when i rebooted my system.
The cable works for my xbox.
Help? I can provide more information but i dont know exactly what to provide

Do you have a driver CD for your motherboard? If you do, see if you can reload your drivers with it.
That's all I got.

check if you've got it enabled in network connections
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
see if wireless is enabled and Ethernet is disabled
if it's enabled then I would install the latest drivers for your BIOS and NIC.
Failing that, do a system restore to a point where it last worked
