Hey friends, what down/up speeds do i need for streaming 1080p quality from my build [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ? I have to start paying for my internet and the packages that I have to choose from are the only ones in my area.... they are listed here:
Up to 3M download & 1M upload- ONLY $49.95/month
Up to 7M download & 3M upload- ONLY $69.95/month
Up to 10M download & 5M upload- ONLY $99.95/month

For 1080p you'll want the highest you can get. Other people will tell you different in the case of streaming and uploading, more is better. 5Mbit upload should do fine for 1080p.

For streaming, like livestreaming you want the highest you can get especially for the high quality you want. Now for streaming, like netflix, you really only need the 3Mb/s package.
