Hey TTG,

Recently BO3 released what many consider to be pay to win content, this being the new weapons in the black market. I personally am completely against this p2w and if you would like to hear more on my thoughts you can listen to them here:

Anyways what are your thoughts on this controversial "business model" that the COD franchise is taking?

Im Against this 100% bacause with the new weapons and stuff your going to end up buying supply crates .... I have already spent way to much money on the game considering it was a £60 Game

Fully agree. I think its despicable that Activision feels the need to pry more money out of us.

You're not being forced to buy supply drops, and the new weapons aren't better than the normal ones either???

Not in Black Ops 3 but certainly in Advanced Warfare.

I know this is specifically geared towards the MX Garand but I still slap kids who use it without even trying. However, I think it is ridiculous how you can only obtain CoD Points by purchasing them. It should be like BO1 were you earn them. Also Cryptokeys should be more easily obtainable and be obtainable through not only completing matches, but just participating in them.

CS:GO is a similar aspect, but the guns in the supply drops aren't honestly amazing or good, so I don't see why you're upset.

We pay at minimum 60 dollars for this game. Then on top of it they want us to buy the season pass (which I myself do) which is another 50 if I have my prices correct. Thats 110$. For 110$ I should get everything that they have to offer for the full year and not have to spend more money to get these stupid supply drop weapons. The drop rate is EXCRUCIATINGLY low so even if you do drop 40$ or more you are not even guaranteed to get one of these weapons. The Iron Jim (until the recent hot fix) was the best melee weapon in the game. The MX Grand is a two shot kill that fires at a pretty fast fire rate, and the shot gun pistol is a OHK at ridiculous range. These guns to me should be included in my already overpriced game/season pass. I fear COD is headed down a dark dark path and I don't want to see that happen as this franchise has been amazing up until Sledgehammer started giving it cancer with AW.

Wow Sean commented on my post I feel honored! Anyways yes, COD now has "supply drops" which can be purchased for real currency. Treyarch stated in one of their BO3 Fridays pre-release that all supply drops in this years COD would be for visual changes only (gun camos, character skins, etc) after Advanced Warfare received lots of backlash over the gun varients (stat changers) last year. But they did a complete 180 and introduced guns which are only accessible via these supply drops. Essentially they flat out lied to us. I for one am pissed.
