So, im looking for a budget rig to play some mid-high games like WoW.

Ive been looking at the Alienware Alpha Console/pc.

Two that im interested in:

So the only difference here is the 3MB increase in cache. Is it worth it to shell out the $100 ?

That isn't the only difference, but neither are worth what you pay, you are much better off building your own PC, would you consider it?

Research this before you buy anything. If you think cache is the only difference. You need to research it first. Otherwise you will get ripped by clever marketing.

If you want my advice... stay well away from Alien Ware.

Leds don't make things go faster.

I did some more research and think im going to buy the i7 version and upgrade the graphics card myself should i need it. Thanks.

Then you will probably need a new PSU, then if you're upgrading then you may as well build it yourself.

You could build a computer for around 500 bucks that could max out WoW and games alike. It's not a very graphically intense game.
