Is an 2008 imac worth still buying ? and around what price would it go for ?

probably not, it depends on your situation, im assuming it'll be under 400$, i'd suggest waiting til you have like 800$ to spend on something more recent and twice as better.

You could build a better PC for cheaper or have a really good PC for the same price you would spend.

I spent a little extra and got the new macbook air , macs last years , they are great , I would save and get a newer one

I have a new macbook air 2015 and i was using windows 8 before i was using mac and the day i had the mac is the day i fell in love with it.it loads up less en 5 seconds and open apps and other fast it renders lot fast then windows when editing videos for youtube

The price they are still currently selling at is anywhere from $150-550 USD and the specs aren't all that great for what you are paying for.

Girlfriend has a 2014 MacBook and I love using it but I'd never pay the price for one.
