So its been a while since this has been happening i've just learned to deal with it.. No matter what site, Theres always little ad's and sometimes when I click a link on a forums it pops up a stupid ad about something completely irrelevant in a new tab.. Virus scans show nothing, its been around for a long time. Any suggestions?

You might have extensions in your browser causing ads.

If it happens on every site, then you must have some sort of Adware. Try running programs like CCleaner or checking your browsers extensions that might cause ads to pop up.
Make sure there are no programs installed on your PC that may be running in the background.

Just go to unistall and uninstall all the extensions you don't need or get ad block
