I Doubt you could get ban since your not effecting anyone and its cheat engine, but i always recommend to play games legit on steam

Single players games do not have anti-cheat, as they are offline. This is why trainers and such are so popular with these types of games. You will be fine using cheat engine. Just make sure to find your pointer addresses to save time in the future

Still, you have to be Online (Connected to Internet) to start up Steam and launch game, and some platforms automatically detect in-game code changes like Cheat Engine in the games launched from their platforms....

All games can be started in offline mode. This is why you launch programs like cheat engine after you've launched your game. Once you download and install the game, you dont' need to be connected to any sort of internet to start the game. That is the whole point of a single player game.

You'll be fine for pretty much most singleplayer games (as well as singleplayer parts of most games) when using cheat engine or any premade trainer.

There's a few games that people have been triggered by VAC for some reason but that's usually because they've used the trainer and then not restarted the game fully so sometimes the anti-cheats can mess up.

As long as you fully restart your game before using multiplayer again, you should be fine.
