Worth the coins as you get rewards no matter how far you go, obviously the more wins you get - you get better rewards.

If you want to open packs then you get your coins worth. If you lose right away, you still get 15k coins or 300 FIFA Points worth of packs. If you win more games you get more packs for the same price.
