The Duplication's work fine but we need to find a way on how to unlink the cars..


I know how to get the car to dupe every time. What I am stuck on is how to predict which car will dupe and how to unlink the cars.

A couple of things you need to know.

1. The dupe car will always get placed in spot # 1 of the garage that is in the top spot of your garage list when you call your mechanic. So, to make sure you dont lose a car, leave that spot empty when you are testing this.

2. You will lose a car, so make sure it is a rebel.

SET UP:

You need a friend

Your top garage MUST have Spot #1 open. If a PV is in that spot, it will get overwritten

Another car (can be in same garage or another one, doesnt matter) that you dont mind losing like a rebel.

Steps

1. Go to the garage that has a car you dont mind losing. Drive it out.

2. Have your friend get in the car with you. Then you get out.

3. Your friend doesnt need to do anything

4. You go get a street car and drive it to LSC

5. Drive it in and put a tracker on it. This will cost you $1900. You will get an alert that you will lose the car your friend is sitting in. Accept this alert.

6. Your friend will get kicked out of the car when you put the tracker on.

7. Leave LSC and pull up your phone. Check the garage that is in the top spot of your mechanics list. You will notice that you now have a copy of one of your PVs.



These cars are linked as they are the same car appearing in two spots. As I said earlier, whatever you do to one of them gets applied to the other.

So here is what we need to do.

1. We need to figure out what set up is needed to predict which of your PVs will dupe. Right now it appears to be random. But it may be predictable such as the last car you drove, Car from Spot 1 in your last garage etc.

2. We also need to figure out how to unlink the cars. So that you can sell one and keep the original.

Some lessons we learned: If you go off line or into creator, the garages will reset and the dupe will be deleted.

Sometimes the street car that you drove into LSC and put a tracker on will be the one that dupes. If this happens, just start a new session and try again.
