Basically I'm switching over from console to pc for the first time and I don't really know where to start from so any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is your budget and currency? 450 GBP but could take it to 500.
Do you need a monitor? No.
Do you need a keyboard? No.
Do you need a mouse? No.
Do you need an operating system? I already have a copy of Windows 7.
What will you use the PC for? Mainly games like Dayz, Battlefield and other main titles to come in the future at high to ultra settings if its possible.

Don't know where to start so I'll take any abuse from not knowing this stuff, thanks again.

Quick question towards the build that was made for me, would it be upgrade able in a few years if needed as games get more demanding?

Ew, don't get that. It's already a poor rig, but it doesn't even include the cost of the case.

Use a molex to 6-pin PCIe for the GPU. If you can spend a little extra, either get this cooler;

or if you can manage about £500;

SSD for your OS.

Sorted. SSD for OS, HDD for everything else. Use stock cooler for now, but I'd add a nice aftermarket cooler at some point, and if you do, you'll be able to OC.
